The Cock Inn, Hanslope

New Managers Andy and Hannah Clarke would like to offer you a warm welcome to the newly renovated village pub, The Cock Inn.

With an attractive open plan bar and dining area, it is popular for drinkers and walkers. Our cosy country feel and large outside terrace, offers something for everyone. Perfectly situated in the centre of Hanslope Village, surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely walks, we’re ideally located for both our local residents and all those visiting.

Our bar offers a great selection of draught lager, including favourites such as Birra Moretti and our newly introduced Korev lager from Cornwall, an Aylesbury Vale Brewery guest Ale and of course a lovely pint of Guinness. On the shelves we offer an array of great Spirits, including a few speciality Gins, mixers and soft drinks but don’t forget to take a look at our wine list to find something else to your liking.

Since the departure of our previous chef, we have decided not to take on another full-time chef for the time being but instead, keep our options open for other ways to bring you mouth-watering grub.

One of those ways is that we are embarking on a new monthly dining experience, known as a Supper Club, partnered with Howard D’Silva, which we are extremely excited about.

Howard is passionate about food from all over the globe and bringing customers together and taking them on a culinary journey. He is also a big supporter of independent businesses and their unique offering, so we are thrilled to have him on board.

“Supper Clubs are a new way of eating, also sometimes known as “pop-up” restaurants and gives the chef the freedom to serve “homestyle” dishes of exotic origin that would be hard to find in restaurants.”

This is a great way of meeting new people as you could be seated on a large table with other guests, just like at a dinner party. Keep an eye out for details of the next Supper Club. You have to be quick though, once released, we expect to sell out fast!
